    Hey

Hi, it's nice to meet you! Are you a huge basketball fan or do you just dabble (as I do, for now)? It's nice to have you here. It seems like a fun forum with lots to talk about.

    New Practice Rule?

Has anyone heard information about the new practice rule? Apparently they've changed the terms for the college men's basketball teams practice schedule. Before the teams were allowed four weeks before their first game and now they are allowed 30 practice days in six weeks. It's supposed to allow...

    Can Somebody Explain This?

Okay, I know this is going to sound silly - but I have no idea what fantasy basketball or fantasy sports in general are. I know a lot of people do them, though. So can someone explain what fantasy basketball is and how it works?

    Favorite non sports game?

I haven't tried WoW, but I know it's really popular. My husband used to play it before we met, though. What are your favorite things about the game? Maybe it could tempt me to play. ;)

    USA team moving!

You make a very good point... I think that kids being able to use it is a huge plus. I'd be interested in finding out how the plan to fund the project. It's going to be a huge investment, but I think it could be worth it in the long run.

Does Anyone Go to Their Local Basketball Games?

I was considering going to my local highschool's basketball games and was wondering if anyone else goes to theirs. Some of the schools up in this area have had great players in the past. So, do you go? Do you ever travel distances to watch your team play?

    Derrick Rose returns?

I agree that he needs to wait if he's going to return to be able to help Chicago win. I don't think it's wise for stars to push themselves on injuries because it could potentially take them out of the game forever. That would be useless to their team and themselves.

    Favorite non sports game?

I'm a nerd. I like mmorpg's and my favorite is Lord of the Rings online. That being said, I can't currently play because they don't support Linux, which is what I'm running on my computer.

    Are Jordans worth the cost?

Thanks for the tips Ladeidre! Tony, I can't wear Chucks because of some hip and knee problems that I have, they don't support. They used to be a go-to favorite in the past, though.

Donaven Dorsey to play for UW

I hope so! The Huskies are my favorite college basketball team. I heard they have another recruit that's said yes to them as well. I think his name is Tristan. Supposedly they are going to be strong this year.

    Derrick Rose returns?

It's rumored that Derrick Rose may be returning to play the season opener in October after a painful injury. He's been out of the game for more than a year. Formerly an MVP for the Bulls, Derrick Rose could bring a lot of game to the table. Some of the other teams are already practicing in...

    Are Jordans worth the cost?

As a former amateur basketball player, I used to wear And1's and really loved them. Lately I've been seeing a lot of Jordan's around. They look stylish and the color choices and styles are definitely unique. What I'd really like to know is whether they are worth the cost. Do they wear well? How...

Donaven Dorsey to play for UW

The university of Washington has been scouting local talent for their upcoming season and got a verbal agreement that Donaven Dorsey would play for the Huskies. He was being recruited by the Huskies, WSU Cougars, Gonzaga Bulldogs, and a couple of Oregon schools. He is rumored to be the 4th best...

    College Bracketing Change

The NCAA has announced that they are changing the way teams are bracketed for tournaments and will make it so that less swaps have to be made in extraordinary circumstances. This should give them more flexibility in matching teams more fairly. Do you think the change will make a difference in...

    USA team moving!

The USA team is moving from Colorado to Arizona hopefully in 2015. It looks like the development is going to be huge and the project is supposed to be over 360,000 square feet. It's supposedly going to have state of the art equipment and will be used by both the USA team and for children's...
