Was Jordan favored by the referees?

I remember a joke cracked by an NBA player during a Dream Team photo shoot wherein he told other players not to get close to Michael Jordan because it would be considered as a foul. Looking back, do you think that Jordan was favored by the referees when he was playing ball? Were they trigger happy when it came to calling fouls when Jordan had the ball? What do you think?

I don't think Jordan was favored by referrees. I think Jordan took just as much of a beating, as the rest of the players that played.

Jordan was in no way favored by the refs. If anything I would say the referrers would screw over Jordan in many games. There were tons of games where Jordan was mauled and a foul wasn't called.
