Everything looked like it's about settling down for Manchester United and boom, the board decided to sack their manager Ruben Amorim because he called out the club's hierarchy for not backing in transfer.

How bad is this decision to sack Ruben Amorim?

Manchester United board are mad and stupid to sack Ruben Amorim. They have appointed Darren Fletcher to replace him on an interim basis who just drew his first game against 19th place Burnley.

Manchester United is just something else. They sacked Ruben Amorim after 14 months, appointed Fletcher as interim coach, removed him and appointed Carrick as another one to see them off this season.

Carrick did well in his first game beating Manchester City 2-0.

Manchester United is thriving very well now under Carrick but all the ground work have been done and perfected by Ruben Amorim. He deserves credit for that.
