Greatest Point Guard of All Time

Im going to break it down by position. My vote for the greatest point guard is John Stockton, and Magic Johnson in a very close second.

Stockton played for the Utah Jazz and has many records that stand today. He was not flashy but was consistent and a solid player with well rounded skills and knew how to play the position. Great assist man and handled the ball very well.

I will second you on the John Stockton. However, I would have to argue that Magic Johnson is going to be more of a shooting guard for me. I know that he is a decent player, but I not sure if you could count him as a second point guard.

I agree with you 100%. Would you say Stockton’s lack of a championship is the only knock against him or do you think his overall impact still makes him the best regardless?
