Do you guys play basketball in "Jays" (i.e. Jordan signature shoes)

I have always debated whether or not to play in jays such as my Jordan 4's but I always refuse simply because I see them as being casual shoes. What's your take on the issue? Ball in jays or no jays?

To be honest, I would not recommend playing in Jordans. Unless they are CP3's (which are made for balling), then they will most likely not be as stylish on the court. Most of these Retro Jordan's are typically for looks rather than performance. They could easily tear while you're playing in a game too.

I mean, retro Jordan used to be THE shoe to play in and were built for performance. But now, they've aged and become relics and expensive fashion statements. I would never play in my nice shoes, Nike has plenty of new, cheap performance shoes that will outperform most Jordan's despite not looking as nice.

I think the reason people go for Jordans was because they are classics and looking nice too, their performance too was up on the way. Nike might not have the bigger look but there are also good to play in them.
