I started liking basketball when I was a kid, as a way to spend time with dad. He would watch his favorite team play and I would watch with him. When I started playing myself, it was discovered that I had a talent of making 3 pointers and that love grew each year.

You're welcome. Yeah, if the ankle is still swelling that's a definite no. Only when the ankle can move without swelling or pain is she ready to get back in the game. Before that, injury can get much worse. Not worth it for any hobby. Health comes first.

Television, after a while of using the laptop for movie watching, I start feeling dizzy.

I had an injury once and it took 3 months to recover fully. However, I think it depends on the severity of the injury at hand. I think a severe injury to the ankle can take 4 months to heal but I'm not a medical professional so I'm just estimating here. Best wishes to your friend, it sucks...

Considering the fact that I'm struggling financially, watching at home is the reality 95% of the time. I'm also in control of changing the game if I don't like it. No such options when at the game, only money that went to waste on a ticket. :p

It just doesn't interest me. There is no thrill of the game when I watched a couple of games. I respect the goals the WNBA had in mind but I just can't bring myself to watch them play.

I liked Saved by the Bell and Full House. I like really cheesy family sitcoms but they have all been replaced by reality TV sadly.

I'm interested in running, soccer and gymnastics. I play soccer, I used to run but no time for it anymore. Gymnastics I love to watch, too old to try it out by now. :p

I agree, there's no shame in looking for new talent. The same old formula won't work every time, maybe if we were all immortal but age takes a toll in any demanding sport.

#1, definitely. I'm a big supporter of the teams I'm a fan of but I know each and every team has a flaw. Bringing up accusations when your favored team loses is just immature.

For me, it's hard to say. I do a constant flip-flop on who is the best shooting guard. Sometimes I think back to the good old days with Michael and then I struggle between current players.

FF8 was my first experience with Final Fantasy so it's my favorite out of nostalgia. I admit it, I'm biased. Haven't had the chance to play the other ones either. Maybe someday...

Just regular sneakers, I'm a casual basketball player with a tight budget right now so brands have to wait until I get on my feet. Still doesn't stop me from making 3 pointers. :p

You bring up a good point and a side I didn't consider before. This is a tough one, so many scenarios depending on the child and family at play here that it's hard to give advice for.
