John Wall deserves $80 million

IT seems obvious the only people who don't believe John Wall will be a top 5 point guard next season didn't watch him play. He made Stan Van Gundy of all people eat his own words at "John Wall is not a franchise player". When he returned he took a team that was 5-28 to 24-25 not to mention the fact Beal was out for 30 games and they started to tank in April. Per 36 he averages 20PPG 8APG and 5RPG.
The only argument you could make for saying Steph Curry or Kyrie Irving is a better point guard is because of their shooting/ handles. Wall is no slouch at sick handles and his was respectable towards the end of last season.

John Wall is a very good player. Having said that, I don't know if he can currently carry the status of a franchise player. A lot of reviews and popular opinion has described him to have only one speed - blazing. While it may be a good thing, the time will come - hopefully later than sooner - that teams will learn how to anticipate this speed while it slowly diminishes over time. I do wish J.Wall the best however. He deserves props.

He's training with Gary Payton who was the most complete guard ever, he has at least 3 shooters beal, Porter and Webster with the spacing he'll get he won't need to change speeds. Although I agree if he could he would be unstoppable assuming he has a respectable 3 shot.
