For those who weren't able to watch the happenings in this season’s All Star Weekend, it was a very entertaining event. I was able to watch the degree shooting stars, skills challenge, three point contest and lastly the most awaited slam dunk contest. For the degree shooting stars, it was Team Bosh who won again and they have won three in a row and might be building a dynasty as what the commentators said. For the skills challenge, Patrick Beverley of the Houston Rockets stole the show and put on some shooting and passing skills. The three point contest was also awaited for, because of the great line up of players. To cut it short, it was Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson who advanced to the final round. Curry won the contest with a record breaking score of 27 points, hitting 13 straight three-pointers in a row. Lastly was the slam dunk contest. It was Victor Oladipo and Zack Lavine in the final round. It was Lavine who won the contest with spectacular between the legs and behind the back dunks. Oladipo’s spinning dunks couldn't beat the “Space Jam” dunker Lavine. Overall it was a great night for the NBA and the fans. I am looking forward to the All-Star game tomorrow.
