Is Kyrie Irving trying too hard?

There's no doubt that Kyrie Irving is the star of the Cleveland Cavaliers. But he's got some large shoes to fill because of Lebron James. I've seen some of his games. There were times that he was brilliant and there were times that he made some bad decisions and forced a lot of shots. It got me thinking, is Kyrie Irving trying too hard to fill hole left by LeBron James? Does he want to get out of LBJs shadow?

LeBron James is a top 5 player in the history of the NBA. I don't think Kyrie is realistically trying to be LeBron. If he looked this year like he's trying too hard, I really think it's just because he HAS to carry the team for them to win on so many nights. He has to be the point guard and the leading scorer.

It may be a moot point until October anyway - With the team likely out of playoff contention, I wonder if well see Kyrie at all the rest of this season.
