Do you agree with the Kings FO firing the Coach?

The Sacramento Kings have been one of the surprise teams in the NBA this season and seemed to be on the right track to becoming a playoff team. They had an absolutely brutal November schedule against a gauntlet of Western Conference playoff teams and came out of it with a 9-5 record. But with Boogie Cousins getting sick, the team lost a ton of games and went 2-8, leading up to Malone getting fired.

Now the FO said that this firing wasn't about "Wins and losses but philosophical differences." If that were the case, wouldn't it make more sense to fire him in the off-season? Why wait until 25 games in?

So my question is do you think it was right for the Kings to fire Malone and if so, do you think they did this the right way?
