I believe that attention is equally distributed between the leagues. Media is what puts the stories online, for everyone to see. The NFL is one example of how media can make a story popular. I just hope that the NBA does not follow this trend of domestic violence.
I don't believe so, but I believe in a different statement. Championships define how great a TEAM is and their chemistry. Basketball is not a one player game, which is different from what many people believe. Team work is needed to win championships, and individual skill wins 1 on 1's.
This is a interesting topic, because teams will definitely be using this to their advantage. Being able to train more and in a longer period of time is beneficial. Players receive more rest and skills just by taking the day off rather than playing on an injury.
Throughout all of highschool, I played on the Varsity team. It is extremely important to focus on your grades more than basketball though. Everyone stresses the fact that academics come first, and then sports second. It's the slogan of many schools in my area.
Personally, I enjoy being at home for the game. I do not have to worry about how I look or how loud I am. Compared to being at a bar, where there are multiple people around me. Also, I can eat like a pig when I am home, which is definitely a great thing.
It is all a matter of personal preference. If you like to be stylish and show off nice kicks, then go ahead. But for some, this is not a luxury. Buying a shoe on the clearance rack is perfectly fine, which is what most kids do not understand.
To be honest, I would not recommend playing in Jordans. Unless they are CP3's (which are made for balling), then they will most likely not be as stylish on the court. Most of these Retro Jordan's are typically for looks rather than performance. They could easily tear while you're playing in a...
Nike is the best seller hands down. They have a better variety of shoes than Adidas overall. You can even customize them on their website. I have never bought a Nike shoe that I did not like. For example, hyperdunks, hyperfuses, and CP3's. Generally, Nike provides better products.
I love basketball because it requires skill. Unlike other sports (not going to name any just in case) basketball requires dedication and athletic qualities. You have to get off the couch and actually practice to become better at this beautiful sport.
Definitely on the TV. I have countless memories watching the big game on my TV with family and friends. Overall it's just a much better experience. If you watch on a computer, it does not feel original.
Although my main love is basketball, I do enjoy playing soccer. Something about the huge playing field and the crowd's energy is exhilarating. However, I'd definitely choose basketball over soccer. It's more intense, at least for me.
