I've never played fantasy on ESPN, so you would probably have to be the ring leader, but I am totally down for that. I'm sure the game types are pretty similar. I think I still have an ESPN account from a bracket challenge 5 years back :D
I would go with the 2K franchise and probably pick up NBA 2K14. You're going to have quite a different experience if the last NBA game you played was for the SNES. I love the create a player and franchise modes. My player is a beast.
Although if you want a game that isn't quite so in depth, you...
And if you like that, I would also suggest reading 1984 by George Orwell as well ;)
I am trying to read more books, but I often have trouble concentrating. I guess its because I want to write books myself, and can't stop thinking about how I would be writing it.
Man, I heard that Juwan was giving those guys a tongue lashing during halftime during some of those games. He definitely deserved to get MVB, and no doubt he is the GOAT when it comes to being a benchwamer/hypeman. I didn't see Derek Rose giving any effort from the bench.
Give Juwan another...
I've been hearing that the Lakers are going to try to get Carmelo or Lebron after this upcoming season. While I'm sure every team wants them, I feel like the Lakers will have one of the better chances. What are your thoughts?
I figured Rondo would be gone before the start of the 13-14' season. I don't think he is the guy to build a franchise around. He is a great piece to the puzzle, but I can't see him becoming a franchise player.
Honestly, I would dish him out too and start from scratch.
To an extent, I think athleticism is the winner, but you can't discount the impact of a leader. If you throw together a team of the most athletic newbies, I don't think they will have enough syncro to beat an experienced team.
I don't think the heat would have won without the experience of...
Free throws were what actually lost it for them. There is absolutely no reason the Spurs should have lost the championship. While I do think that the Heat were the better team, the Spurs had them in too good of a position to lose.
Also, Pop had some questionable decisions down the stretch...
Does anyone here follow any D-League teams. I live in a pretty small city, so we don't have a chance of getting an NBA OR a D-league team. Depressing.
My problem with the D-League is that I don't see many stars coming from it. Unlike baseball, the best players in the NBA generally start at the...
I hate to break the news to my foreign friends, but I think this particular forum is referring to American Football :D
With that being said, who is looking forward to the World Cup?!
Sorry you hijack your thread, colfgg :P
I definitely will set one up if we can get enough members to sign up come October. I would like a minimum of 10 people. I know some others who may be interested, so hopefully we can get things rolling!
Eh, I don't know if he has what it takes. Thus far he only seems to be good at breaking up a teams chemistry. The Rockets have a history of having great big men, and if Dwight will take some constructive criticism from them, he may be able to overcome his persona as a free-throw bricking diva...
Yes but are we forgetting about Derek Rose? Butler is a great defender, and I have a feeling he will really come alive in his 3rd season. I definitely think the bulls will make it through a few rounds in the playoffs before they are knocked out by the Heat again.
I am a bit sour about Nate...
