Josh Smith release thoughts?

All I can say is wow. Guy who essentially gets close to max money gets released a year later and the Pistons are on the hook for paying him 14+Mil a year for the next 2 seasons after this one. I found it really surprising that they'd just flat out release him and not get anything for him in return. Especially getting closer to the deadline, you'd think that some contender would be willing to give some bad contracts+picks sort of returns in exchange for him.

Smith has been atrocious the past few years, but I think he'll fit right back in with Houston and be a productive player for them, especially at min. salary cost.
